The world's largest active volcano, Mauna Loa, erupted in Hawaii for the first time in 38 years, on Sunday, November 27th. As you know, the HI-SEAS base is located on this volcano. We have been extremely concerned about developments there and we are monitoring what is occurring. At present, the latest accounts report that lava flows passed below HI-SEAs but cut the access road. We are following the developments together with the international MoonBase Alliance and we hope this situation will be resolved for the best for our base.
